Darko Milicic: I have struggled with opponents and prejudice all my life. It happened 100 times in Orlando – I’m a 7-foot guy who can stand up and shoot, but when I shoot, the coach screams ‘Get down to Dwight! Down to Dwight! I’ve been substituted a hundred times for this. I’d make a shot and then turn around and say, ‘Forget Dwight, take me out!’ ‘How do you play with confidence when your coach is yelling at you when you’re shooting? Dwight never leaves the paint; if he does, something tragic happens. I couldn’t believe they couldn’t realize that I could play on the outside and bring a new dimension to the game. It’s ugly and unprofessional for a coach to scream at a player during a shot, especially a young player trying to find a way out.
