The Tennessee Titans made a splash when they hired Robert Saleh to be their next head coach, and positive comments about the hire continue to pour in.
The latest to express his approval is Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young, who is familiar with Saleh from his days with the San Francisco 49ers. Young shared his thoughts on Saleh during his time as a Pro Bowl coach and the importance of adding Brian Daboll to help develop Cam Ward.

“He has a very dynamic personality and understands people very well,” Young said. “I think he learned a lot. He’s a better coach, in my opinion, because he went to the (New York) Jets. I love Robert and I think he’s going to be great.”
Young’s comments about Saleh, especially his growth as a coach during his time in New York, should bode well for the Titans and should be music to fans’ ears after the pain they’ve endured in recent seasons. During his introductory press conference, he showed personality, seemed to inspire everyone in the room and, most importantly, came across as genuine.
Time will tell if Saleh is the right hire, but entering his first offseason in Nashville, his emergence is inspiring and has helped create buzz around the Titans.
