Congress is currently on recess for two weeks due to a partial government shutdown that began in February, along with other departments. Government employees work for free.
The resulting confusion prompted TMZ to ask the publicSend photos of politicians on vacation during the shutdown.
Some of the lawmakers caught on camera include Senator Lindsey Graham (RS.C.), He was seen traveling to Walt Disney World, along with Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) Taken in a Las Vegas casino bar.
Wednesday,TMZ adds Florida Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz to growing list and posted a photo of himself serving as timekeeper at his 12-year-old son’s basketball game.
The Florida Democrat had not commented on the story as of Wednesday afternoon, but many of his Republican colleagues seemed to think TMZ’s attempt to silence him was terribly wrong.
