He battled some injuries early on but broke out last season, catching 71 passes for 1,085 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is currently rated as the No. 27 receiving prospect in the transfer portal rankings and is ranked in the top 150 overall player rankings.
“I’m scheduled to visit UCLA on January 6,” Brown said. “I also heard from Virginia, Duke, Arizona, Illinois, Nebraska, Washington State, Iowa, Cincinnati, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.
“I’m trying to schedule another visit before going to UCLA and would like to go at least 2-3 more times if I can. I’m excited about UCLA though
Brown is a standout from Huntington Beach (Calif.) Edison and signed with Yale as a 2022 graduate. He was a two-way player who excelled on both sides of the ball, but surprisingly wasn’t pursued by any Power 4 programs and decided to go the Ivy League route.

He’s a true plug-and-play receiver who should be able to step in and contribute immediately.
“Coming out of high school, I was confident in my abilities and believed I could put myself in a position like this,” Brown said. “At the same time, this moment feels less like something I expected or envisioned and more like the result of being patient and continuing to work hard throughout this process, so I’m super excited.”
