Facebook Rolls Out Holi-Themed Avatar Stickers to Celebrate Festival of Colours: How to Use

Facebook has launched Holi-themed avatar stickers on the occasion of the festival of colours. These stickers are also present in the Facebook app and Facebook Messenger. Facebook said more than 4 million Indians posted more than 6.6 million posts and comments about Holi on the social media platform. The aim of launching these new stickers is to give people more options to express themselves during the holiday season. Holi 2021 begins on March 28 (Sunday) and ends on the next day.

The social media platform said that new Holi-themed avatar stickers are now available on Facebook and Facebook Messenger. Users can find these new avatar stickers in the comment edit box by clicking the smiley button. If you don’t see the stickers, try updating to the latest version and launching the app again.

How to use Holi themed avatar stickers on Facebook, Facebook Messenger

To use the new Holi-themed avatar stickers on Facebook or Messenger, users need to first create a new avatar through the comment editor. You can create your avatar and use Holi themed avatar stickers on Facebook and Facebook Messenger by following the steps below:

  1. click smiley face Icon in comment editor

  2. Go to the stickers tab and click Create your avatar. Alternatively, you can find avatar creators at: bookmark section in the Facebook app.

  3. Create your avatar by choosing your skin tone and hair. Once your avatar is created, your new Holi stickers will appear in your sticker gallery when you post or comment on a Facebook post or use Messenger.

Apart from Facebook, Google has also launched a special “Easter egg” on its search results page for smartphone and desktop users to celebrate Holi. To experience it, users need to search for the word “Holi” or “Holi” and then click or tap on the image of three bowls of colors shown in the sidebar information card. By clicking or tapping anywhere, you’ll be able to spread some festive color throughout the page.
