On Wednesday, news broke that Giannis Antetokounmpo is considering his future and has requested a trade.
ESPN’s Shams Charania wrote on

Charania said on ESPN just after 3 p.m. ET: “I’ve heard Giannis is frustrated with the recent losses… There’s also a sense of tension in the locker room about what this means for Giannis. I even had a source tell me and describe the situation as ominous.”

Giannis has not been traded yet.
Charania’s post suggests the final plan will take some time and discussion, but appears to be moving toward a potential agreement.
From now on, teams will be flooding Milwaukee with calls asking about Antetokounmpo.

Due to offseason signing rules, many NBA players are not eligible for trades until December 15th. Therefore, it seems unlikely that a deal will be struck before then.
It may also take longer, but it’s an initial point worth focusing on.
