Daytona International Speedway is gearing up for a new year of exciting races and fun events.
“We’re ready to rock out at the World Center of Racing,” Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher said in an interview with the Jacksonville Morning News. “This track looks beautiful, and I’m telling you, if a NASCAR Cup Series driver […] Today came in and I thought we might finish a game tomorrow. We’re ready and excited for the 68th Daytona 500, which is just 34 days away on February 15th. “

The track is preparing for the Rolex 24 later this month. The race will feature 60 cars competing for 24 hours. “It’s racing from sunup to sundown, all night long. I’m talking about Lamborghinis, Porsches, Ferraris, BMWs,” Kelleher said. “We’re going to have some NASCAR stars racing, IndyCar champions, some retired F1 drivers. I mean, this is North America’s most prestigious and grueling endurance race. In addition to the two-and-a-half-mile tri-oval, we also have a 12-turn, 3.56-mile road course.”
You can learn more about upcoming events, including the America 250 Duel at Daytona, in Kelleher’s full interview with the Jacksonville Morning News.
Tickets for the Daytona 500 and Rolex 24 are on sale now on the Daytona International Speedway website.
