So what does a seasoned pro like Logan Paulson see when he watches film on the Washington Commanders’ newest pass rusher, O’Duffy Owe?
Paulson, who has played in 120 NFL regular season games over his eight-year career, joined Grant Paulson on the latest episode of the “Take Command” podcast, and here’s part of Paulson’s exchange after doing some film research on Oweh.

“I was a little unsure of what the movie was going to show, especially last year. I’m not going to beat around the bush, to be honest. I was a little shocked by what I saw in the movie. I saw an athletic guy. He’s a big guy. He’s 6-foot-5, 257, at least that’s what he measured at the combine.”
“He’s got 34 1/2-inch arms, which is perfect for the rusher position. It’s been cool to see his growth this year, he’s matured as a pass rusher compared to when I was watching him before. He’s got good cross-cutting ability, and he’s able to attack the outside shoulder of the (offensive) tackle.”
“When you look at the film, his spin action, length and strength are all tops for me. The other thing I think he does well is how strong he is against the run. He’s physical, man. He’s got long arms, he plays with a lot of power. He can catch guys.”

“It really reminds me of Danielle Hunter when I played against him early in his career as a rookie. He’s good, but he hasn’t really figured it out yet. Those qualities that you see out of Odafe Oweh, I think he’s on the verge of being really special.”
I think you pay him a year’s salary, maybe people would say that’s a little premature. But what about after watching the movie? I was like, man, if he can do that in Washington, he’s worth every penny. “
It’s safe to say that Paulson is a big fan of Ove.
