WNBA All-Star Caitlin Clark makes her debut as a basketball analyst on “Hoops Night in America” on Sunday, February 1.
Clark, who was a special contributor at the Los Angeles Lakers-New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, offered his thoughts on the ongoing WNBA labor conflict. The WNBA and the players union will hold their next meeting on Monday to reach a new collective bargaining agreement. It has been more than a month since the WNBA received the latest proposal from the union.

“Honestly, I don’t think this is just a big moment for the WNBA. I think it’s for all women’s sports,” Clark said. “I think this is one of the most important moments we’ve ever had. “I’m very confident that we can get something done… We’ve gotten to this point because we launched the product. “
Monday’s meeting will be held in New York City with members of the WNBA’s Leadership Council and Labor Relations Board, led by WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, and including a number of WNBA owners.
The 2026 WNBA season is scheduled to begin on May 8. If the WNBA and the Players Association reach an agreement, this will be the league’s 30th season.

In addition to WNBA talk, Clark has appeared on pregame shows alongside Reggie Miller, Carmelo Anthony and Mariah Taylor. The 6-footer later joked that the trio made her feel small.
