The Buffalo Bills may have a lengthy injury report this weekend, but the team ruled out just two players ahead of Thursday’s divisional round game against the Denver Broncos. Buffalo isn’t healthy per se, but they can at least bring back some reinforcements.
Defensive tackle Ed Oliver, who was on injured reserve with a torn biceps, and wide receiver Curtis Samuel, who was on injured reserve with elbow and neck injuries, were both activated before today’s game. Both players will suit up for the game, a welcome sight for a Buffalo team that lost two receivers to torn ACLs last weekend.

Which other players on Buffalo’s team are being left out today? Here’s the complete list of Buffalo’s seven inactive players.

RB Ty Johnson
Although Johnson is listed as questionable, he has only practiced once this week in limited practice. He tried before the game, but he was sidelined again due to an ankle injury sustained in the final game of the regular season. Frank Gore Jr. joins Ray Davis and James Cook III as the active running backs.
TE Clay Chillatu
With Buffalo’s top three tight ends healthy, the undrafted rookie was healthy today. Davon Knox and Jackson Hawes both outscored Dalton Kinkaid last week, but Kinkaid caught a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to take the lead. All three are expected to play important roles today.

T. Taron Grable
Buffalo’s ninth linebacker is healthy. The Bills will use Ryan Van DeMark and Alec Anderson as swing tackles, with Cedric Van Plan-Granger as the backup interior lineman.
DT Fidarian Mathis
With Denver’s club emphasizing more on the pass than the run, Buffalo will keep veteran Larry Ogunjobi — a better passer than the run — active in the single-technique position of Mathis, who has done well as a rotational player in the run game. Ed Oliver is also back today playing some snaps. Deone Walker, TJ Sanders and DaQuan Jones complete the interior group.

LB Terrell Bernard
Buffalo’s defensive captain will miss his third straight game due to a calf injury. Veteran Shaq Thompson will start alongside Matt Milano and Beren Spector will handle special teams duties.
CB Maxwell Hairston
The rookie was sidelined again after injuring his ankle in the final game of the regular season. Tre’Davious White, Christian Benford and Dane Jackson are Buffalo’s healthy outside corners.
Jordan Boyer
The veteran safety is out after re-injuring his hamstring last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cam Lewis, Jordan Hancock or Darnell Savage Jr. will start alongside Cole Bishop.
