Broncos re-sign RB J.K. Dobbins to a two-year deal

Running back JK Dobbins wants to be a “Bronco for life.” He will also be with the Broncos for at least another year, maybe two.

Dobbins and the Broncos have agreed to a two-year contract, via Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports.

Dobbins rushed for 772 yards in 10 games with the Broncos last year; a foot injury in Week 10 ended his season.

When he’s healthy, he’s efficient. In 2025, he averaged 5.0 yards per carry. For his career, he averaged 5.2 yards per carry.

The problem has always been staying healthy. In 2020, he played 15 games as a rookie.

The second-round pick spent four years with the Ravens. He suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the first game of his final season in Baltimore.

He rushed for a career-high 905 yards with the Chargers in 2024 before joining the Broncos in 2025.

The deal will team Dobbins with RJ Harvey as a one-two punch in the Broncos’ backfield.
