The Denver Broncos may be just one non-Bonix injury away from reaching the Super Bowl.
Sean Payton’s team is having a phenomenal season, a young team that continues to grow throughout the season, and the Denver Nuggets defeated Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills at home in an epic playoff game.

However, Nix suffered a broken ankle, leading to what was supposed to be a fateful date with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Broncos know they will enter 2026 with one of the best defenses in the NFL.
They have a Super Bowl-winning defense, and if they can improve their already solid offense with the help of a proven young quarterback in Nix, the Broncos could be the favorite to win the Super Bowl next season.
In a recent ESPN internals article, senior writer Bill Barnwell believed the Broncos made a major move this offseason to bolster their offense and give the Knicks another legitimate receiving weapon alongside Courtland Sutton.
Barnwell had the Broncos give up cornerback Riley Moss, a 2026 second-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick in exchange for Philadelphia Eagles superstar wide receiver AJ Brown and a 2026 fifth-round pick.

“Brown’s situation with the Eagles is tenuous,” Barnwell wrote. “… [He] Will be Bo Nix and Sean Payton’s dream wide receiver. Nix’s accuracy issues downfield will be alleviated by Brown’s size, catch radius and ability to win contested catches. “
If the Broncos can work out a deal with Brown, their offense, which has been overlooked for much of the 2025 season, will start to scare many teams on their schedule for the upcoming season.
Even in what was considered a “down year,” Brown still had a strong season, racking up 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games.
In an environment where starting quarterbacks love to throw the ball, this could be what Brown needs to rediscover his love for the game after a tumultuous year in Philadelphia.
