But then he rejoined the Blue Jays in the offseason to try to turn things around and see if they could overcome their overtime loss in Game 7 of the World Series.

If he can get healthy again.
On Thursday, Bieber received a clean bill of health from head coach John Schneider, according to a report by MLB.com’s Keegan Matheson.

Bieber also has a few shortened seasons to consider as he makes plans for his future.
He made just two starts in 2024 before having Tommy John surgery, and didn’t return until the summer of 2025 when he recovered from the injury.
Regardless, the Blue Jays likely don’t want to bring him back, as he may struggle to reach 200 innings over the course of a full season after his recent injury history.
