Good evening. The top ten brackets will be out soon—in the meantime, here are my suggestions for writers:
What’s the worst blender you’ve ever made? I don’t mean “there’s something wrong with me” or something like cough syrup and tequila; Think more about things like, in my own case, Diet Coke and gin.
northwest: The reason I ask this is because I was at the cabin a few weekends ago and was digging through the pantry and cupboards late at night. My in-laws (the owners of said cabin) aren’t much of a drinker, but they keep a few bottles for those of us who drink regularly (their ungrateful sons-in-law, who should know better than to let their daughter marry a swarthy Catholic).

One bottle was gin, and there were a few glasses of Tanqueray left. It’s been there since I don’t know when – I love a good gin but not the hangover that comes with having one that turns into four.
For some reason, seeing Aldi brand Diet Coke – the second best mass produced and easily available Diet Coke in our official power rankings! —I couldn’t help but think back to a time in college when, before an event, I drank several bottles of Diet Coke with a bunch of gin thrown in.
Reader, this is not good.

While it’s not the worst taste, it’s typical of college drunks’ thoughts. People in the dorms call it “Arctic Fox,” and the recipe is simple: 1 part vodka, 1 part soda, 1 part water. Served in a pint glass. I believe the logic with water is that it can handle more vodka, and it kind of works.
Dead reading: A fraternity at my school (not mine, but a group of friends I had) was known for doing all kinds of boxing. One of them is “pis’n’shits.” It involves using various sake and lemonade mixtures. That’s pee. These shits are Three Musketeers mini candies, the only candy on the mass market that float.

It’s actually very tasty. The thing is…it’s a panacea that delivers industrial-level retching to young people who haven’t yet learned to pace themselves. By senior year, I almost had the rhythm thing figured out…but not quite yet.

Ohio State UniversityIt’s worth mentioning that Indiana has a better SOS (32) and a better combined Q1/Q2 record (7-11) than Indiana (45 and 4-11 respectively). However, the Buckeyes were on the wrong side of the ball and the Hoosiers were given the benefit of the doubt. I think an extra win in the first quarter will help. I’m not too concerned with breaking this down any further.
