Bethesda Announces Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Set for 2026

Fallout 4 is launching a special edition bundle next month to commemorate the game’s 10th anniversary. Bethesda announced during a Fallout Days livestream on Thursday that the Anniversary Edition will also launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, including six add-ons and Creator Club content. Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will be released on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on November 10th, ten years after the game launched.

Fallout 4th Anniversary Edition Released

Bethesda says the Anniversary Edition pack will include the base game, six expansion packs (including the Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World and Workshop expansion packs) and more than 150 Creation Club items. “Fallout 4” also released a new trailer on Switch 2.

“The final version of Fallout 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. It’s been ten years since players first stepped out of Vault 111 and into a post-nuclear world. To mark the occasion, Bethesda Game Studios is excited to announce Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition. The ultimate celebration of a beloved classic, the complete Fallout 4 experience will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026,” said Bethesda.

Bethesda says this version will also bring previously unreleased Creation Club content, including new weapons and different dogmeat breeds, gameplay tweaks and mission expansions.

The Anniversary Edition will bring creation to Fallout 4 via a new in-game creation menu, where players can discover and download new content.

More than a year ago, “Fallout 4” received a next-generation update on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles, and the new version of “Fallout 4” came out. The next-gen update brings graphical improvements, higher frame rates, and other improvements and fixes.

Radiation Day Radio Announcement

During Thursday’s Fallout Days broadcast, Bethesda also announced the release date for Fallout 76’s Burning Springs update. The expansion, one of the largest to date for the game, features new map areas and story, and will be available for free on December 2, 2025.

With the update, Fallout 76 players will be able to explore a post-apocalyptic Ohio and take on new bounty hunting missions featuring ghouls from the Amazon Prime Video TV series Fallout.

Bethesda also announced the launch of its Fallout Days sale, which currently offers discounts of up to 75% on Fallout products on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox stores.

Additionally, the studio announced the launch of the Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle, which includes the Ultimate Edition of the game and physical collectibles.

However, Bethesda did not reveal any new Fallout games during the livestream, although the studio is believed to be developing new Fallout projects. Last year, Bethesda director Todd Howard hinted that the studio was developing two unannounced Fallout projects. While these projects have yet to be confirmed, the studio is working on new content for The Elder Scrolls 6 and its latest iteration, Starfield.
