Bayern Munich could recall Jonah Kusi-Asare from Fulham

Just like Daniel Peretz’s loan move from Bayern Munich to Hamburger SV, Jonah Cusi-Asare’s loan move at Fulham didn’t quite go to plan. The 18-year-old has made just five appearances in all competitions for Fulham’s senior side and made one 44-minute appearance for the Under-21s in the National League Cup against Aldershot Town in November. He has only played a total of twenty-three minutes in the Premier League, which is far from what was expected when he hoped to leave Bayern on loan.

According to Tz’s Manuel Bunker and Philippe Kessler (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern are now seriously considering recalling Kusi Asare from his Fulham loan spell as things aren’t going well for him in England’s top flight. Back in the summer, Bayern had different plans for where the youngster would go on loan, but he wanted to move to Fulham. Bayern had considered Grasshopper Zurich as well as other clubs in Belgium and the Netherlands, which proved more favorable for the young striker, although hindsight is always 20/20.
