jump from La Masia Breaking into the Barcelona first team is a constant dream for any young player in the academy, and the chance of making that jump depends purely on the merits they accumulate.
Likewise, any Atlético manager would tend to dream of that elusive promotion to first-team coaching. Pep Guardiola is the most famous person to make the jump, and every coach dreams of becoming the next Guardiola.

Candidates with a good understanding of the academy talent and the club’s philosophy usually have hope of moving into the first team. However, lack of experience is a hindrance and even current B team coach Juliano Belletti faces a similar situation.
Belletti speaks
In a recent interview, the Barcelona coach was asked if he would be willing to coach Barcelona’s first team at any time and he immediately responded positively, albeit with a very mature attitude.

“You have to go step by step. I started with the Brazilian first team and then I got into football.” He started with sports, admitting it was a gradual process.

Belletti elaborated on how it is crucial that he remains committed to the job at hand rather than dreaming of future opportunities,
“Now I have to concentrate on developing the young boys. You have seen that our average age is 18 and 19 and today I have to be 100 per cent to do that.” he concluded.
Under his guidance, Atlético FC currently sit fourth in the La Liga Segunda Division 3 standings. They are just seven points behind leaders St Adreu in the promotion play-offs.
