Arman Tsarukyan set for return just 10 days after RAF06 melee

Less than two weeks after his controversial debut in British Wrestling, Arman Tsarukyan is set to headline a main event.

The lightweight contender lashed out at George Plath after a hard-fought 5-3 victory at RAF06 in Arizona, sparking a melee between the two camps.

He is now back in action, once again participating in a submission grappling match at a major event for Hype FC in Brazil.

The card also features Jean Silva from Fighting Nerds, as well as an exciting matchup between former BMF champion Jorge Masvidal and rising middleweight star Shara Magomedov.

Hype FC, one of the top boxing organizations in the Middle East, is hosting a major event in Brazil on March 11, and they have just added Tsarukyan to the mix.

The UFC lightweight contender has remained active as he awaits booking for his next fight. Since defeating Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar, he has stepped into the ring four times in just over three months.

He only won one of those games, with “Sarah Bullets” holding him to a draw when they faced off at Hype FC on December 30. The fight was short-lived, with both fighters admitting afterwards that they were unclear about the rules.

While Tsarukyan has been confirmed as the main eventer, his opponent has yet to be determined. The same goes for Jean Silva, who is rapidly climbing the featherweight rankings and will fight on home soil.

The promotion is known for putting a lot of money behind its shows. They even invited Tom Hardy to fight Magomedov before Tsarukyan took over. There are also rumors that they are trying to finally pit Dillon Danis against Magomed Zainukov to resolve their long-standing feud.
