Inter goalkeeper Josep Martinez has no plans to leave the club despite playing relatively little time at the San Siro.
By chatting with TMW Inter Milan 1908Martinez’s agent Sergio Barilla confirmed that his client “feels good” at Milan.

Josep Martinez Since joining Inter Milan from Genoa in the summer of 2024, he has been Inter Milan’s second choice goalkeeper.
Despite his advanced age and inconsistent performance, Jan Sommer Still Christian Chivu’s first choice between the sticks.
In addition, the San Siro giants are in the market for a new goalkeeper to replace the 36-year-old at the end of the season.
Roma star Miles Villar would be a dream signing for the Nerazzurri.
However, Beppe Marotta is exploring several other options, including Noah Atubolu, Guglielmo Vicario and Elia Caprile.
Although Martinez’s first-team opportunities remain up in the air, the former Genoa ace is not looking for a new club.

Instead, he is prepared to stay and push for his chance at San Siro.

“Whenever coach puts Josef Martinez on the team, he’s always ready to help,” Barilla said.
“The events of October were a deeply unfortunate personal tragedy that will be difficult for anyone to overcome.

“We ask that the family be respected.”
Although Inter Milan lost in the Italian Super Cup semi-finals, Martinez performed well against Bologna.
“Of course he wants to lead the team to the final and feels sorry for his teammates, the club and the fans,” the agent added.
Finally, he played down speculation about the Spaniard’s winter exit.
“Peppo is happy at Inter; he feels good about the club and Milan, both professionally and personally,” he concluded.
Martinez, meanwhile, is likely to make way for Sommer when Chivu’s side face struggling Atalanta in Serie A this weekend.
