Acer on Monday announced a new line of QD-OLED gaming monitors, including the Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1 models. Catering to gamers, the new monitor comes with integrated quantum dot and OLED display technology, which is said to deliver images with high color reproduction and contrast while consuming less power than its LCD sports rivals. Acer’s new monitors are available in 31.5-inch and 26.5-inch display sizes, with resolutions up to 4K, refresh rates up to 240Hz, and support for AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro technology.
Acer Predator X32 X2, Predator X27U X1 availability and price
The Acer Predator X27U X1 is priced at $599.99 (approximately Rs. 51,000) in the US and EUR 699 (approximately Rs. 64,500) in EMEA. Meanwhile, the Predator X32 X2 is priced at $999.99 (approximately Rs. 85,000) in the US and EUR 1,199 (approximately Rs. 1,10,700) in EMEA.
Both models are already available in the United States and will be sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa starting in June 2025.
Acer Predator X32 X2, Predator X27U X1 Specifications
The Acer Predator X32 X2 gaming monitor features a 31.5-inch UHD (3840×2160 pixels) QD-OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The Predator X27U X1, on the other hand, features a 26.5-inch WQHD (2560×1440) panel with the same aspect ratio. According to the company, both models have a native brightness of 250 nits and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
These monitors have a refresh rate of 240Hz and offer dynamic refresh rate functionality. The monitors feature a response time of 0.03 milliseconds and, combined with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, are said to deliver smooth, artifact-free visuals that reduce blurring and screen tearing issues.
The new Acer Predator QD-OLED gaming monitor is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified and is said to provide 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. They offer HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort connectivity, which means they’re compatible with consoles and PCs.
The company has equipped its new gaming monitor with an ergonomic stand that allows for tilt, swivel, and height adjustments. BlueLightShield Pro technology, meanwhile, is said to protect gamers from eye strain during long gaming sessions. The Acer Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1 also support picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture features for multitasking, according to the company.
