NFL free agency defense breakdown: Trey Hendrickson, Khalil Mack; Rams’ ALL-IN Trent McDuffie trade

Nate Tice and Charles McDonald break down the top defensive players available in NFL free agency. These guys are first reacting to the Los Angeles Rams’ blockbuster trade for Kansas City Chiefs CB Trent McDuffie, along with some other breaking news from the NFL (Drew Dahlman retiring, Jonathan Greenard available, and were the Indianapolis Colts right to give Daniel Jones the transition tag when Kyler Murray was just cut by the Arizona Cardinals?).

Next, Nate and Charles dive into this year’s defensive free agent classes, starting with a strong group of linebackers who can make an impact in the right scheme, a group of stout veterans on the interior defensive line, some interesting edge rushers (including some that can be acquired on the cheap), and interesting (if not star-studded) a bunch of secondary players. The two also reacted to the news that the New England Patriots will waive WR Stefon Diggs next week.
