PEORIA — Two former KFC locations in Peoria have been put up for sale, following a series of closures at the fast-food chain last year.
The shuttered KFC stores at 8905 N. Allen Road in Peoria and 2231 W. Glen Ave. are both listed for sale for $1.1 million.
About seven KFCs closed in the Peoria area last year, including in Pattonville, Pekin, West Peoria and Morton.

The Glen Street and West Street stores closed last March. The Allen Road store closed a few months later, along with stores in Pekin, Bartonville and Morton.
KFC locations in Rockford and Springfield also closed last year.
