10 arrested in connection with trespassing residence on Williamsburg Road

VIRGINIA BEACH (WAVY) — Ten people were arrested for trespassing at a Williamsburg Road home Saturday morning, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department. Multiple firearms, narcotics and drug paraphernalia were also seized.

On February 13, police obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 500 block of Williamsburg Road after observing multiple unauthorized activities during surveillance. Police added that since July 2022, there have been 46 calls for service to the home.

Despite repeated condemnations, police said the building was illegally occupied.

At around 8:10 a.m. on February 14, multiple units issued search warrants and 10 people were safely detained. Some had outstanding arrest warrants and others were found to be in possession of illegal drugs.

Police seized two rifles, a short-barreled rifle, a stolen short-barreled shotgun, ammunition, other narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of marijuana. A vehicle believed to be used to transport illegal substances was also seized.
