YouTube: How to Delete All Offline Videos From the YouTube App on Android, iPhone, or iPad

YouTube is the world’s largest video sharing platform and one of the most popular websites in India and other parts of the world. In 2014, YouTube launched a feature that allowed users to download videos and watch them on mobile devices, freeing them from the unstable internet that once ruined the video viewing experience. Many YouTube videos are now available for download, but it’s only available on smartphones – that’s the YouTube app for Android devices as well as iPhone and iPad – and the videos can’t be downloaded on desktops. You can watch downloaded YouTube videos for 30 days, after which the video will remain in your Downloads section but will not be viewable and will not be deleted.

How to download YouTube videos for offline viewing

Downloading YouTube videos on your phone can not only help when your internet connection is spotty, but also when you’re traveling in areas with no internet at all or when you’re on a plane. Although data tariffs have dropped significantly since the feature was launched, we don’t always get the best internet speeds to stream content on YouTube. However, storing videos in high resolution – or simply downloading too many YouTube videos – can take up all the storage space on your phone. Fortunately, you can delete downloaded YouTube videos at any time, either individually or all at once. While deleting a video is very simple, the option to delete all YouTube offline videos is hidden under Settings. You can find it here.
