Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Coming to Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation With a Future Update

Xiaomi will join hands with Japanese video game development studio Polyphony Digital to bring Gran Turismo 7 to the Mi SU7 Ultra, the company announced on Saturday during the first round of the 2025 GT World Series. The high-performance luxury electric vehicle (EV) will be the first product from the Chinese conglomerate’s automotive division and will appear in the racing simulator series, which will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 systems.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in Gran Turismo 7

Xiaomi said its SU7 Ultra EV will be integrated into the Gran Turismo 7 through a joint development process. It will truly replicate the driving dynamics and luxurious aesthetics of an electric car. Last month, GT Racing founder Kazunori Yamauchi visited the Xiaomi factory, met with Xiaomi Group founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun, toured the electric vehicle factory and test-drove the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.

The electric car is expected to launch as part of an upcoming update and will be the first Xiaomi car in the racing simulator.

Lei Jun said in a statement: “The Gran Turismo series is famous for delivering the highest level of quality and experience, so I am very happy that Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will appear in Gran Turismo.”

In addition to the SU7 Ultra, Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital will also collaborate on a concept car called Vision Gran Turismo, which will be launched on a racing simulator.

About Xiaomi SU7 Extreme Commemorative Edition

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was first launched in 2024 as a performance-focused prototype version of the standard SU7 EV. The product will then go on sale on March 2 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. Its price in China starts from RMB 529,900 (approximately Rs. 64 lakh).

It is powered by triple HyperEngine electric motors, which are developed in-house and combine to deliver a maximum output of 1,548 hp and a peak torque of 635 Nm. According to the company, it can accelerate from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour (kmph) in 1.98 seconds and 0-200 kmph in 5.86 seconds.

The overall top speed of Xiaomi SU7 Extreme Commemorative Edition is 350 kilometers per hour. Powering it is the Kirin 2.0 battery pack, which comes from CATL and is integrated directly into the body using CTB (battery-to-body) technology. The battery capacity is 150kWh and the maximum discharge power is 1330kW. Xiaomi said the electric car has a maximum CLTC range of 630 kilometers and can be fully charged in 12 minutes using a 5.2C charging multiplier.
