The Los Angeles Rams have emerged from their latest loss as fast favorites for next year’s Super Bowl. As a fan, would you rather be the favorite, or would you rather fly under the radar and hit teams from the shadows like the Rams did in 1999?

Does the perception of preseason quality have an impact on a team’s actual chances of making it to the Super Bowl? Being marked as “the most important game of the year” on the opposing team’s calendar? Or is this just media mumbo jumbo in the NFL news cycle during a team rebuild?
