Worker at SoFi fired after threatening to call ICE on Latino concertgoers

A third-party service provider employee working at SoFi Stadium who was caught on cellphone video threatening to report a group of Latino concertgoers to Immigration and Customs Enforcement no longer works at the venue, KTLA confirmed.

The Feb. 20 incident occurred after a Los Bukis concert at the Inglewood venue.

Video of the conversation shows a clear disagreement between concertgoers and a female staff member. The cause of the dispute is unclear. Later, another staff member, whom witnesses described as a supervisor, intervened and attempted to explain the situation to one of the attendees.

As he spoke, the female worker began recording the interaction. At one point, she told a concert audience, “Don’t put words in my mouth, don’t put words in my mouth.”

The supervisor asked her to leave the area. She appeared to reply, “Yes, until I call ICE,” and walked away.

Witnesses, including the woman who recorded the video, reacted immediately and followed the employee as she directed another group of people to leave the venue.

“She said she was going to call ICE,” the witness said on the recording.

Moments later, the witness informed the supervisor of the comment. He responded: “I have no control over that. I’ll talk to her about it.”

A spokesperson for Hollywood Park told KTLA that the female worker was employed by a third-party service provider and no longer works at Hollywood Park.
