The Wisconsin Badgers’ football program continues to be in good shape as they just secured a commitment from three-star edge rusher Isaac Miller.
247Sports’ Tom Loy announced that 2027 Class of 2027 four-star athlete Cooper Ohnmacht will take three unofficial visits in March; Wisconsin happens to be the first on his schedule.

Ohnmacht will visit Madison, Wis., on March 21st, just five days before traveling to Vanderbilt on the 26th. Two days after visiting the Commodores, he will visit one of Wisconsin’s conference rivals, Penn State.
Ohnmacht is 6-foot, 185 pounds and is a very reliable two-way player. He has the ability to play both safety and wide receiver, although he will likely only play one of those positions in college.
He currently holds offers from Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Penn State, Rice, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas and Kansas State.
Clearly, this is not going to be an easy battle to win. That said, Wisconsin’s first unofficial visit certainly gave them a bit of a boost. As long as everything goes well, Ohnmacht should keep them in the mix longer, which should help their chances.

247Sports ranks Ohnmacht as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Kansas, and he is a member of the No. 236 draft class in the 2027 class.
