Here’s everything you need to know about Duke Miles of Vanderbilt.
Myers will be crucial to Vanderbilt’s success this year, but this will be his first and only season with the Commodores. He transferred to Vanderbilt as a senior in graduate school and previously played at Oklahoma State (2024-25), High Point (2023-24) and Troy (2020-2023).

Miles season stats from Duke University
Miles is a 6-foot-2 point guard with speed and intensity on both ends of the floor. In 26 games this season, he’s averaging 16.5 points and 4.5 assists while also leading the Commodores in steals per game (2.6) and free throw percentage (.894).
Miles also seems to have reached his peak in the NCAA tournament. His season high (30 points) came against Tennessee in the SEC Championship Game in Nashville on March 13. Miles’ three highest-scoring games — 28 points against Western Kentucky on Nov. 26 and 25 points against Saint Mary’s on Nov. 28 — all occurred on neutral sites.

Duke Myers age
Duke Miles is 24 years old. He is from Montgomery, Alabama. In high school he played on the Robert E. Lee basketball team.
Duke Myers injury status
Duke Myers missed 6 games during the 2025-26 Vanderbilt basketball season due to knee surgery. Vanderbilt won 4-2 without Myers in the lineup. He underwent surgery on January 28 and returned to the team on February 21.
Duke Myers’ trip to Vanderbilt includes Troy, Oklahoma’s High Point
Myers originally signed with Troy University, one of 18 schools offering the service. Injuries plagued his career with Troy, and he played in only 49 games in three years. After transferring to High Point for his senior season, he averaged 17.5 points per game and shot 52.8% from the field.
That led to calls from major Division I schools, which is why he spent his redshirt senior season at Oklahoma State. He averaged 9.6 points per game with the Sooners, largely due to his reduced role on the team.
More miles: Duke Myers’ journey to Vanderbilt included knocked out teeth, heartbreak
Myers has been great for the Commodores, but it’s his combination with sophomore guard Tyler Tanner that makes Vanderbilt truly dangerous. Since being paired with Myers, Tanner has increased almost all of his key statistics (points, assists, steals) from his freshman year.
