The North Carolina Tar Heels enter this week’s ACC Tournament in Charlotte with a double bye as the fourth seed.
They don’t play their first game until Thursday, and a win could set them up against Duke for the third time this season. As we sit here in March with the NCAA Tournament right around the corner, the Tar Heels are currently looking to improve their standings.

In Monday’s Bracketology update on ESPN, Joe Lunardi has the Tar Heels back in the running as a sixth seed after Saturday’s loss to Duke.
Part of the reason for the seeding may be that they lose Caleb Wilson for the rest of the year. However, even as a sixth seed, this is a better position than where they were before last season.
The Tar Heels have been hovering around the fifth seed for a few weeks and have now moved up to the fourth seed. But losses to NC State and now Duke have made them give up, according to Lunardi. This week will provide another opportunity for the team to improve their resume.
