Saturday is the Virginia High School Football Championships, with six class finals set to be played across the commonwealth.

We may see the reigning champion of the first two divisions, Oscar Smith, looking for a second straight Grade 6 title and fourth in six years.
Maury could make the Tigers even better at the fifth level, though. The Commodores are seeking a third straight title as they reach the finals for the fifth consecutive year. This game is a rematch of the 2022 championship game won by Highland Springs.
Another highlight is the Division II finals, where Glenvall (14-0) will face Strasburg in an attempt to end the state’s only perfect season.
