Arizona, Michigan, Connecticut and Illinois are the last remaining teams, with March Madness continuing through April with the semifinals and finals before the 2026 national champion is crowned.
UConn, the most decorated team left, would advance to the Final Four with a last-second win over favorite Duke in the Elite Eight. The Huskies have won the title six times, most recently in back-to-back years in 2023 and 2024.
Three other teams have won the NCAA title twice: Arizona in 1997 and Michigan in 1989, and Illinois is still looking for its maiden trophy.
Who will hoist the 2026 trophy in Indianapolis? Here’s what you need to know to watch.
