Where is Louisville basketball ranked in new AP Top 25, Coaches Poll?

Where does the Louisville basketball team stand in the latest Top 25 poll after going 1-1 in the ACC for the third straight week?

Pat Kelsey’s Cardinals (13-5, 3-3 ACC) fell from No. 19 to No. 21 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll released Monday following a loss to then-No. 16 Virginia at the KFC Yum Center and notched a bounce-back win at Pittsburgh’s Petersen Events Center.

London’s next game: Saturday against Virginia Tech (14-5, 3-3) at Yum! Center at 3:30 p.m.

Mike Young’s Hokies were 1-1 last week. They lost at SMU on Jan. 14 when Boopie Miller’s half-court shot went in, and three days later they beat Notre Dame 89-76 at home.

On February 25, 2025, the University of Louisville defeated Virginia Tech 71-66 at Cassel Coliseum, ending a four-game losing streak against Virginia Tech. It was the only time the two programs met last season.
