How to transfer WhatsApp chat backup from iPhone to Android
When switching from iPhone to Android, there is no native option within the app for transferring chat history. This is mainly because WhatsApp for iOS stores backups of iPhone users on iCloud, while WhatsApp for Android stores backups on Google Drive. However, users can export the entire chat history via Mail and then restore it to a new device. Each chat needs to be exported individually, so it’s a tedious process. But it does guarantee that the chat will be restored. It is recommended that you select important chats and then export those chats and keep the less important chats. Here are the steps to transfer WhatsApp chat history from iPhone to Android.

Open the WhatsApp app on your iPhone and swipe left In the chat you want to export.

Click more in the menu that appears. choose Export chat history options.
