What will the Colts get in a trade for QB Anthony Richardson?

The Colts have allowed quarterback Anthony Richardson to seek a trade. The fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft went 8-7 in 15 starts with the Colts, but posted a passer rating of just 67.8, 634 yards and 10 touchdowns on 115 carries.

Pickett was selected by the Steelers with the 20th overall pick in the 2022 draft and started 24 games with a 78.8 passer rating. After the 2024 season, he was traded to Philadelphia for Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who had a 45.2 passer rating in Cleveland, and a 2025 fifth-round pick.

Zach Wilson: Traded seventh-round pick for sixth-round pick

Wilson, the New York Jets’ second overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, started 33 games with a 73.1 passer rating and was acquired by the Denver Nuggets for a seventh-round pick after the 2023 season.

Justin Fields: Sixth-round pick

Fields started 53 games for the Bears after being selected with the 11th overall pick in the 2021 draft. He had a passer rating of 84.7, rushed for 2,220 yards and 14 touchdowns on 356 carries and had a 10-28 record. He brought back a sixth-round pick from Pittsburgh. Since being traded, Fields has failed to hold down starting jobs with the Pittsburgh and New York Jets.

Mac Jones: Sixth-round pick

After a promising rookie season, Jones went 8-17 with an 81.4 passer rating over the next two seasons with the Patriots and was traded to Jacksonville for a sixth-round draft pick after the 2023 season. Jones performed well as a backup for the 49ers last season, posting a passer rating of 97.4.

Trey Lance: Fourth-round pick

Lance, the third overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has caught just 102 passes in four starts for the 49ers. He lost his lone start before being traded to the Cowboys before the 2024 season, then made one start for the Chargers in 2025.
