What 2 insiders are hearing about the Jaguars from those in the NFL

As the Jacksonville Jaguars continue to rack up wins, what are people around the NFL saying about this team?

That’s the question ESPN NFL insiders Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler recently answered — specifically, are teams buying into the Jaguars’ current performance?

The answer seems complicated.

As Graziano pointed out, after the Jaguars won in Denver, a lot of people texted him saying Liam Cohen should be Coach of the Year. Graziano also noted the role Anthony Campanile played in the team’s success, as well as the importance of Jakobi Meyers.

However, some people didn’t fully accept it either.

“I think there will be some skepticism about what the Jaguars can do in the playoffs – as with any emerging contender,” Graziano wrote. “But Lawrence does have a playoff win on his resume, and the versatility of the Jaguars’ offense coupled with their toughness on defense is certainly getting other teams to take notice.”

The Jaguars offense is in full swing heading into the final weeks of the regular season. The Jaguars have scored 30 or more points in five of their past eight games.

As Graziano noted, while the running game helped carry the offensive workload earlier this year, it’s been Trevor Lawrence and the passing game that have led to this team over the past month or so as he’s found more comfort in Cohen’s offense.

Defensively, the Jaguars continue to create takeaways at a very high rate.

Put those two things together, and add a team that can play 60 minutes, and the Jaguars are one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

The sample size is large enough at this stage of the season. There should be no doubt anymore about the Jaguars.
