Disasi joined Chelsea in 2023, but performed poorly and was recently loaned to Aston Villa. However, his arrival provides an attractive short-term solution for West Ham, who are keen to add physicality to the heart of the defence, but are not committing to a permanent deal at this stage.

Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis has also been considered, but the Championship club are believed to be unwilling to sell, with West Ham’s options narrowing as the transfer window enters its final days.

Negotiations for Disasi are ongoing and no agreement has yet been reached, but West Ham still hope to reach a deal to strengthen their squad. With time running out, clubs are weighing the urgency and value of bolstering their backline.
