Fikayo Tomori says Ademola Lookman was one of the toughest opponents he has ever faced in Serie A and he is glad he didn’t leave for Inter last summer: “We wouldn’t be friends anymore.”
Milan centre-back Fikayo Tomori is delighted he will not face Lookman in tonight’s Madonna derby against Inter Milan.

The Nigeria international came close to joining the Nerazzurri last summer, but Radea refused to sell him to a domestic rival for less than €50 million.

Lookman spent the first part of the season in Bergamo before joining Atletico Madrid in January.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, Tomori mentioned Lookman as one of the best forwards he encountered during his five years at Meazza.

Tomori jokes with Lookman after Inter transfer collapse
Tomori is a friend of Lookman’s off the pitch and spoke to the striker after his move to Inter Milan failed.

“I spoke to him when he stayed [at Atalanta]I said: ‘If you go to Inter Milan, we won’t be friends anymore,'” the English defender said with a smile.
