Earlier tonight (Saturday, December 13, 2025) at UFC Vegas 112 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, Giga Chikadze faced off against Kevin Vallejos in a featherweight bout.
Chikadze started off with a lot of feints and then landed a high kick. Vallejos was patient early on, waiting for Chichazide to slip and attack with several big right hands. Suddenly, Chikadze unleashed a series of powerful kicks to the body and head, stunning the young fighter for a moment. Vallejos went into the grapple to recover, clinging to the boxer. Vallejos attempted a takedown but had no real success and when Chikadze returned to the center he landed another left kick to the liver. Vallejos found some short connections at the end of the round, but it wasn’t enough to make up for all the kicks absorbed.

All in all, it was a strong opening five minutes for the Georgian kickboxer.
Vallejos started the second period with a body kick of his own. Chikaze pretended to move forward and delivered a hard front kick. Vallejos lands a nice right hand to extend his advantage. As Chikadze prepared to come around the fence, Vallejos caught his timing with a quick spinning backfist that hit him right in the chin! Chikadze fell to the ground and Vallejos finished with a series of nasty elbows.
Wow! Giga Chikadze seems to have figured out his opponent, trapping him at distance with his powerful kicks. However, Vallejos has explosive talent, and his spinning strikes caught Chikadze off guard. The young talent’s finishing instincts were also on display as he turned takedowns into knockouts in a split second.
This impressive win should move Vallejos into the top 15 next week.
