This is the live blog for Michael “Venom” Page vs. Sam Patterson, a welterweight bout at UFC London on Saturday at the O2 Arena in the UK.
Page was a mainstay in Bellator for a decade, eventually making the move to the UFC in 2024, where he endured a strange experience. After winning his debut over Kevin Holland, “MVP” dropped a decision over Ian Machado Garry, keeping him away from the welterweight title. Page subsequently won two fights at 185 pounds, including a decision victory over former title challenger Jared Cannonier, but now instead of pursuing a middleweight title shot, MVP returns to his old stomping ground against an unranked contender.

After earning a spot through the UFC competitor seriesPatterson made the cut for the first time in 2023, but has been perfect since, with four straight first-round finishes. Most recently, Patterson defeated Trey Waters in September, giving him a chance to move into the welterweight ranks.
