A super PAC aligned with President Donald Trump has built up a cash hoard of more than $304 million that it can use to help shape this year’s midterm elections, according to information released by the PAC on Friday.
MAGA Inc.’s massive inventory underscores the unparalleled fundraising of a president who is unable to seek re-election but has seen interest from individuals and companies since his return to the White House before the administration opens its wallets to advance his agenda.
OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman donated $25 million to the super PAC in September. His contributions accounted for nearly a quarter of the roughly $102 million MAGA Inc. reported raising between July 1 and Dec. 22, according to new filings with the Federal Election Commission.
Trump has become a champion of the emerging artificial intelligence industry and pushed to accelerate innovation in the field. Last month, he issued an executive order seeking to prevent states from enforcing their own artificial intelligence rules.
Industry leaders, including OpenAI executives, believe forcing companies to comply with competing national regulations will hinder innovation.
In an article in X this week, Brockman said he has stepped up his political activity to reflect “support for policies that promote American innovation and constructive dialogue between government and the technology sector.”
He also praised Trump and his administration’s “willingness to engage directly with the AI community and approach emerging technologies with a growth-focused mindset.”
The White House on Friday raised questions about the donation to MAGA Inc.
“Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, MAGA Inc will have the resources to help candidates who support President Trump’s America First agenda of securing our borders, keeping our streets safe, growing our economy and making life more affordable for all Americans,” a spokesperson for the super PAC said in a statement.
Other donors to the organization in the second half of 2025 include e-cigarette maker Juul Labs, which donated $1 million, and tech billionaire Jared Isaacman, who was confirmed as NASA’s new administrator last month. Isaacman donated $1 million to the super PAC in September, bringing his total contributions to MAGA Inc. last year to $2 million, according to federal records.
Documents show Republican megadonor Stephen Schwarzman gave $5 million to MAGA Inc. last month. Schwarzman, chief executive of global investment firm Blackstone, also contributed to Trump’s White House ballroom project, which the president said could cost $400 million.
