Tributes have been paid to a “pure” British mother who was allegedly stabbed to death at her home in Spain.
Victoria Hart, 33, was found dead on the floor of her home in the Andalusian town of Alhaurín el Grande on Saturday, according to local authorities.
Her ex-partner was arrested on Saturday after he turned himself in at Alhaurín de la Torre prison, local media reported. The estranged parents have an 11-year-old boy and two 7-year-old twin girls.

According to reports, Hart is said to have taken out a restraining order against her ex-partner Le Monde. The statement said: “We extend our deepest condolences and support to the families and relatives of the victims, and express our strongest condemnation and indignation against this kind of gender-based violence. This kind of gender-based violence is a social scourge that seriously violates human rights and must be eradicated with the participation of the whole society.”

Mayor Anthony Bermudez declared an official day of mourning on Monday “as a sign of respect and solidarity.”
Resident Anne Khraiche told reporters spanish eye Newspaper: “Victoria had the purest heart and her ultimate goal was to ensure her children had the best life she could give them.
“She worked hard to make sure they had that while making sure she attended their various activities. Family ties were very important to her.”
Halo SpaSalon, a salon in town, also paid tribute to Hart, who worked as a hairdresser.
“Tonight we stand with Victoria Hart’s family and beautiful children to express all our thoughts, prayers, love and strength,” they wrote on social media.
“A young mum and fellow hairdresser in the community was brutally treated in such a disgusting way. Her life was taken from her and the lives of her children and family were changed forever.”
An FCDO spokesperson told independent: “We are supporting the family of a British woman who died in Spain and we are in contact with local authorities.”
