Toyota’s updated EV lineup becomes more attractive
In 2026, Toyota bZ received a real round of updates. Range, refinement and equipment have all been improved compared to the outgoing model, while the price has also dropped. On paper, that already puts it in a better position within Toyota’s still limited EV lineup.
But Toyota didn’t stop there. according to Direct car accessthe Japanese automaker is now offering some serious incentives for the 2026 bZ, C-HR, and bZ Woodland to attract more buyers.
These offers are available in most areas and are available on both purchase and rental plans. However, the offer currently expires at the end of March, so buyers have limited time to take advantage.
Purchase incentives lower financing costs
If you want to buy rather than lease, Toyota is making it easier for you to purchase its electric vehicles. $5,000 cash bonus after list price, available on bZ, C-HR and bZ Woodland.
There’s also 0% APR financing for up to 72 months, and a $3,500 bonus if you choose that option. This combination makes borrowing costs significantly lower than what you would typically see from a bank or credit union.
These incentives make a real difference to monthly payments. Earlier this year, the entry-level C-HR was listed at about $686 per month, with a 72-month loan APR of about 9%. With the new deal, the price drops to around $485 per month, a significant drop making it affordable for more buyers.
The larger bZ Woodland also gets a price break, with monthly payments down to about $601. Actual numbers will depend on your region and dealer, but these incentives bring Toyota’s EVs into line with other electric crossovers.

More discounts when renting
Lease shoppers may find bigger incentives. Toyota is currently offering $7,000 in lease cash on the 2026 bZ, C-HR and bZ Woodland. The incentive increases from $6,500 last month and is matched by a lease rate that effectively amounts to 0% APR.
For example, in Southern California, a Toyota bZ XLE is available for lease at $289 per month for 36 months, with $3,999 due at signing. Taking into account upfront costs, the effective monthly cost is approximately $400.
interestingly, Direct car access points out that the Subaru Solterra, which shares its platform with the bZ, is sometimes cheaper to lease in certain areas despite its higher MSRP.
It’s unclear whether Toyota will extend or expand those incentives next month. However, for buyers already considering a Toyota electric vehicle, the current discounts are significant. Shoppers interested in these deals may want to act quickly as the deals expire at the end of March.
