According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur CEO Vinay Venkatesham has been at Tottenham’s training ground since early this morning. Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-5 to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 match last night. Spurs boss Igor Tudor has lost all four games he has been in charge since taking over from Thomas Frank and calls for his sacking are growing.
He spent the night in a hotel at Tottenham’s training ground, where he has been staying since moving to England. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to oversee Sunday’s game against Liverpool or next Wednesday’s second leg against Atletico Madrid when the Premier League resumes. However, it is believed that talks between the Spurs boss and Venkatesham are ongoing over recent performances and if that comes to the point, the Tottenham chairman will be told he has been sacked.

Fans want Tudor to leave as nothing has improved since his arrival and a defeat to Liverpool this weekend could see the club slip into the relegation zone.
Spurs sit two places and one point above the relegation zone before their final nine league games and could be in the Championship next season if they don’t turn things around quickly.
They will face Sunderland, Brighton, Wolves, Aston Villa, Leeds United, Chelsea and Everton in the remainder of the league beyond this weekend.
Defeats to Arsenal, Fulham and Crystal Palace before last night have been a wake-up call and if Spurs lose to Liverpool again, Tudor could be out in the next few hours.
