Finally, former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll agreed to serve as offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans Jordan Schultz.
While Daboll was interviewing for head coaching jobs with the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders, the Titans had to wait. Bills hire Joe Brady as head coach. The Thunder haven’t hired a coach yet, but Daboll clearly didn’t get the job.

To me, Mike McDaniel is the guy I want Robert Saleh to take with him when he gets this job. Once McDaniel took the Los Angeles Chargers job and there were rumors that Daboll wanted the job, I was all for Daboll. This was a home run for hire by Saleh.
Daboll played a major role in Josh Allen’s development with the Buffalo Bills. Some people want to disparage Daboll because he has Allen. Those people don’t remember how rough Allen was when he first came into the league. Daboll has proven he knows how to develop young quarterbacks.
Of course, that will be key to the Titans’ job. They have a young, very talented quarterback in Cam Ward. He just needs the right coach to help him maximize his talents. Daboll is off to a good start.
