Not since Saquon Barkley in 2018 has a running back been drafted in the top 5 of the NFL draft. Notre Dame’s Jeremiah Love could change that this year.
The Titans, with the fourth overall pick, are currently the favorite to select Love, with odds of +200 on drafting Love. It would be a significant investment in a running back, and the Titans hope he can become two of the cornerstones of their offense along with 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward for years to come.

The 6-foot, 214-pound Love ran a 4.36-second 40-yard dash at the scout combine, solidifying his status as the top running back in this year’s draft. Love rushed 199 times for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns at Notre Dame last year and was one of the best running backs in college football in years.
With the seventh overall pick, the Commanders have the second-highest draft odds at +275. The Chiefs (No. 9) are ranked at +350 and the Saints (No. 8) are ranked at +370.
