Despite being released on Game Pass, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is also a huge hit on Steam. According to the SteamDB chart, the current peak number of simultaneous online users of the game on the platform has exceeded 200,000. As of this writing, over 74,000 players have participated in the game.
Bethesda RPG is currently one of the most played games on Steam, with only heavyweights such as Counter-Strike 2, PUBG: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Dota 2 attracting more players in the past 24 hours.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was removed from shelves on April 22, after several leaks suggested the project was ready to launch this month. The remaster updates the original game with enhanced graphics and rebuilt in-game assets in Unreal Engine 5.
It also improves the gameplay and user interface, adds new quality of life features, and modernizes the role-playing game. The remaster comes with the base game, the Shivering Isles and Tales of the Nine Knights expansions, and additional downloadable content, including the infamous Horse Armor Pack. Forsaken: Remastered is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
