Micah Richards spoke about Chelsea’s draw with Manchester City on his podcast today. He made a very interesting point about how the Blues fare against a previously dominant Manchester City.

“I think the big turning point in this game was Liam Delap,” said the pundit and former Manchester City player.
“I thought his run was behind, especially seeing it high up the pitch, it just put City a little bit behind and then City didn’t really know what to do. It gave them a little confidence that Cole Palmer could play like I mentioned.”
There’s no doubt that this switch has helped Chelsea, and while that’s good news for the result, it’s even more bad news for Joao Pedro. The Brazilian once again contributed nothing and Delap only ran for half an hour and gave the team more than the Brazilian had in the entire game.

As Matt Lowe points out in a Daily Telegraph article today, Ronnie Orr’s biggest challenge will be getting Cole Palmer back to top form.
Andy Brassell pointed out on TalkSport earlier today that Chelsea fans comparing incoming Liam Rosenho to Jose Mourinho or Antonio Conte should really understand the club’s new target.
