The Pittsburgh Steelers received an important update on Monday Night Football regarding TJ Watt’s partially collapsed lung and his status for their Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins, courtesy of head coach Mike Tomlin.
Tomlin revealed that Watt has been released from the hospital and is “resting comfortably at home” after undergoing surgery to repair and stabilize a partially collapsed lung. Tomlin subsequently ruled Watt out for Monday’s game against the Dolphins.
In 13 games this season, Watt has accumulated 53 tackles, 7 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 1 interception.
