The Pittsburgh Steelers received some good news before their regular-season finale against the Baltimore Ravens, specifically regarding the condition of T.J. Watt, who has missed the past three games with a partially collapsed lung.
On Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport updated fans on Watt’s status three weeks out from lung surgery and noted a potential return date to keep an eye on.

“It sounds like, from a health perspective, [Watt] “In a very good position,” Rapoport said. “Expect him to play in his next meaningful game for the Pittsburgh Steelers.” That means either next week, if there’s a playoff spot, or making the playoffs. “
After the Steelers’ embarrassing loss to the Cleveland Browns, the next “meaningful” game will unfortunately be against the Ravens in Week 18, which would be a win-win and playoff push for both AFC North rivals.
Steelers Wire will provide any additional updates on Watt’s status, and more information may be available in the coming days.
